Upcoming Summer Closure - Tuesday, April 29, 2025

The Air Force Memorial will be closed from June 15 to July 26, 2025 due to major construction related to the Arlington National Cemetery Southern Expansion Project. There will be no access to the site as the main entrance will be blocked. The closure includes Independence Day, meaning there will not be access to view fireworks from this location. Ceremonies and visits are not permitted at the active construction site during this time.

The finalized project will expand burial space for the cemetery and lead to a visitor increase to the Air Force Memorial.

Thank you for your understanding.
