The Air Force Outreach Division can help you with the coordination of your next event.

  • The Air Force Aerial Support program provides operational support for eligible events, ranging from airshows, aviation-related events, and professional sporting events. To request aerial support, go to: https://www.airshows.pa.hq.af.mil/.
  • The Air Force Bands program offers a variety of entertainment options for your event, ranging from large ceremonial bands to smaller ensembles. To request a band, go to: https://www.music.af.mil.
  • The U.S. Air Force Honor Guard participates in many different types of events. To request an Honor Guard, go to: https://www.honorguard.af.mil.
  • The Marketing & Branding Division also falls under Air Force Outreach and coordinates all Air Force support of commercial motion pictures, television programs, documentaries, and other productions.

Thank you for your interest in the Air Force District of Washington’s (AFDW) Speakers Bureau program. Our goal is to offer you AFDW leaders who can speak to your organization on a wide variety of topics. This program connects our Air Force speakers with interested audiences in the National Capital Region in an effort to foster understanding of the Air Force and AFDW missions. Our program offers a diverse group of leaders available to speak at ceremonies, organizational clubs and venues, and civic outreach events.

To request an AFDW Keynote Speaker:

  • Fill out the AFDW Speaker Request Form and submit it to AFDW.PA.Public.Affairs@us.af.mil no later than 45 days prior to your event.
  • The AFDW Public Affairs staff will evaluate your event to ensure compliance with Department of Defense and Air Force policies.
  • If your request is approved, a member of the Public Affairs staff will contact the organization’s point of contact for further details.

AFDW speakers can talk on a wide variety of subjects, including but not limited to:

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)
  • Air Force history
  • Air Force medicine and health professions
  • Leadership and management
  • Air Force career or educational opportunities
