Scott Chesnut, Air Force District of Washington vice commander, looks at new equipment at the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Auxiliary during a Search and Rescue (SAR) Exercise, at the Martin State Airport in Essex, Md., Sept. 16, 2006. While the CAP still flies 95 percent of all federal inland SAR missions, its work also includes disaster relief and communications, as well as counter drug and homeland security missions.
