Earth Day events

Phil Williams, 11th Civil Engineer Squadron, hosts a battery recycling presentation April 16 at the Bolling AFB Youth Center. More than 1,000 batteries were collected from several collection points on base, including the youth center. The presentation was one of several Earth Day events throughout the month of April, as well as a tree planting event, a green products display at Office Eagle, the base exchange and commissary and an Earth Day party at the Slip Inn.
