Volunteers support military families, honors the fallen

Mentees prepare to release their balloons during the 16th annual Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp May 30. Children wrote hand-written messages to their lost loved ones in a special act during the camp. Since 1995, adults have attended the annual National Military Survivor Seminar and children attend the annual National Good Grief Camp. Both programs incorporate a series of activities and workshops to help the attendees cope with the grief that comes with losing a loved one.
