Exercising precision response
Airmen from the 779th Medical Group bioenvironmental flight move towards the simulated fuel spill while testing the air for hazards using a gas meter and a toxic vapor analyzer, Feb. 8, at Joint Base Andrews. Personnel all over Joint Base Andrews participated in the exercise which consisted of a fuel truck crashing into a bus carrying passengers. The exercise was conducted to test the emergency response actions of the installation’s first responders as well as prepare Joint Base Andrews for the upcoming Compliance Inspection.
