Frank Gorenc AFDW Commander Nov. 20, 2007 -- I want to thank all of the Airmen in the District for their contributions to the Combined Federal Campaign thus far. As of today, more than 99 percent of the Airmen within the Air Force District of Washington and our partner units have been contacted with the information necessary to make a contribution. The CFC is nearing conclusion and will end Dec. 7. As of today, we are half way to our donation goal of $449,000. The CFC is a great opportunity to support any one of the thousands of great causes represented by the campaign. Many of these causes directly support military members and the dependents of military members. Regardless of whether you choose a civilian cause that provides food to families who have met with difficult times or one that provides funds for families of our wounded service members, they are all important. Please contribute generously to the CFC! This holiday season, you can make a difference for many who may need help.
