AFPC hosts "road show" Published June 9, 2015 11th WIng Public Affairs JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- Personnel from Headquarters Air Force and the Air Force Personnel Center will visit JBA Thursday, June 11, to share information about the Enlisted Evaluation System and Weighted Airman Promotion System changes. During the briefing, EES/WAPS subject matter experts will speak about changes that have already been implemented, those slated for implementation in the months ahead, and the reasons and philosophy behind the changes. "This is one of the most significant changes to the enlisted evaluation and promotion system in a generation. So, we feel it's important to bring this information directly to commanders and Airmen and allow them to ask questions and get immediate answers from the experts," said Maj. Gen. Peggy Poore, AFPC commander. The series of briefings is targeted for specific audiences, as indicated below, note the time and various locations for each. 8-9 a.m., Senior leadership brief, Community Commons/building 1442: Aimed at wing, group, and squadron commanders/equivalents and their superintendents, background on the changes and overarching guidance will be provided. 9-10:30 a.m., FSS/subject matter experts brief, Community Commons/building 1442: Designed for Force Support Squadron, Manpower, Personnel, and Services staff, commander's support staff, and other personnel subject matter experts who advise on and process evaluations and promotion products. Unit personnel representatives; even if they are not personnelists, are highly encouraged to attend this briefing. 1-2:30 p.m., All call, base theater/building 1674: This briefing is for everyone! The team will also conduct these briefings at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling June 12 in the Stewart Theater.
