After many minutes of deliberation and numerous glasses of water to put out their flaming mouths, the judges emerged to announce World Renowned Blue Flame Bison Chili won first place for the best "Yankee" (with beans) chili, while Red Hot Kisses Chili earned the trophy as both the best "real" (no beans) chili and the best overall chili. The Red Hot team was from AFDW A4/7. The Blue Bison team was from AFDW/RE. AFDW Knowledge Operations Center took first place in the pumpkin carvin' contest. Runners up were AFDW/JA and AFDW/A1S. AFDW also set up a Combined Federal Campaign table at the event, so Airmen could sign up for the charity of their choice while enjoying the day's events.
