enlisted aides give Airmen cooking lessons
Master Sgt. Jamie Green and Tech. Sgt. Teresa Vanderford (close), both general officer enlisted aides, demonstrate cooking techniques for Airmen at the United States Air Force Honor Guard dormitory March 12. The recipes demonstrated included chicken cordon bleu and poached rolled chicken with parsley and tarragon. These classes are held monthly and teach Airmen how to shop, handle and prepare their own meals. “We’re doing this to instruct these young Airmen in the basics of food preparation and menu handling so they have a healthy alternative to fast food,” said Sergeant Vanderford.
