    Dozens of National Capital Region technical and master sergeants attended the Joint Base Andrews/Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling First Sergeant Symposium at the Smart Center here May 7-11. The event featured leadership perspectives from Maj. Gen. James A. Jacobson, Air Force District of Washington commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Melanie K. Noel, AFDW command chief, among others. The symposium is designed to instill critical thinking, enforce Air Force core values, and prepare attendees to lead Airmen.
