Airmen of Note's Jazz Heritage Series wraps with Branford Marsalis
Jazz legend Branford Marsalis was the final guest for this season's Jazz Heritage series put on April 5 by Airmen of Note at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center on Northern Virginia Community College’s Alexandria campus. Each month, The Air Force Band's premiere jazz ensemble welcomes a jazz artist to sit in with the troupe and bring a unique concert opportunity to the public.

Air Force Band, renowned pianist jazz it up
The U.S. Air Force Band Airmen of Note performed alongside pianist Kenny Barron during a Jazz Heritage Series performance at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center in Alexandria, Va., March 8, 2017. The series began in 1990 and has been broadcast to millions each year through National Public Radio, independent jazz radio stations, satellite radio services and the internet.
