JBAB begins limited, phased COVID-19 distribution

Members of the 11th Security Forces Squadron, Naval District of Washington Fire Department and 316th Medical Squadron wait 15 minutes after receiving the Moderna COVID-19 vaccination at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington D.C., Dec. 30, 2020. As initial quantities of the vaccine are limited, medical, fire department and security forces professionals are the first at JBAB to be offered the vaccine in line with the Department of Defense phased prioritization plan. When available, the DOD will ensure the vaccine is available for all beneficiaries. The DOD remains committed to protecting our Service members, civilian employees, and families around the globe; safeguarding our national security capabilities; and supporting the whole-of-nation response.
