Naval District of Washington Commandant Rear Adm. Carl Lahti; Air Force District of Washington Commander Maj. Gen. Ricky N. Rupp; Air Force Element Commander and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, D.C., Vice Commander Col. Michael J. Zuhlsdorf; and AFDW Logistics Director Col. Christoff Gaub toured the Shore Operations Center, ShOC, at Naval District of Washington Headquarters, D.C., Feb. 6. This expansive facility oversees the Virtual Perimeter Monitoring Systems of Naval installations in the National Capital Region, to include JBAB and the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
