AFDW Public Affairs Officer

Maj. Gen. James A. Jacobson, commander of the Air Force District of Washington, AFDW, at Joint Base Andrews, Md., meets with Maj. Gen. Michael L. Howard, commanding general, Joint Force Headquarters - National Capital Region and U.S. Army Military District of Washington, on Aug., 14, 2017, at Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington D.C., to discuss the agencies’ partnership. AFDW is responsible for organizing, training and equipping combat forces for aerospace expeditionary forces, homeland operations, civil support, national special security events and ceremonial events.
