AFDW's newest SNCOs wrap leadership course

Master Sgt. Moira Howerton, 113th Medical Group first sergeant asks a panel of chief master sergeants a question during an open forum discussion as part of a Senior Noncommissioned Officer Professional Enhancement course Aug. 2, 2017 at Joint Base Andrews, Md. Howerton’s question pertained to balancing mission requirements during periods when Airmen morale is negatively impacted by personal issues or conflicts. Discussions during the course focused on issues that SNCOs will encounter as new senior leaders, like mentoring junior enlisted Airmen, embracing cultural diversity, managing stress and writing performance evaluation reports.
