United States Air Force Tattoo
Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James, Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, and leaders of Air Forces from the Pacific region observe the United States Air Force Tattoo Sept. 17, 2015. The Air Force District of Washington commemorated the United States Air Force's 68th birthday with a celebration of music, drill and ceremony, aircraft, and fireworks on the Air Force Ceremonial Lawn at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The event featured flyovers of several aircraft including the Air Force Thunderbirds and a Warbird vintage aircraft squadron, as well as performances by the Air Force Band and Honor Guard.
