Redskins

Technical Sgt. Christopher Ferrell, 11th Civil Engineer Squadron's Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight, is honored for his Purple Heart Medal by Maj. Gen. Darryl Burke, Air Force District of Washington commander, during an NFL half-time show of the Washington Redskins versus Dallas Cowboys game, Dec. 7, 2015. Ferrell was wounded while disarming a road-side bomb in Afghanistan in 2009.
