Capitals visit Andrews
Brooks Laich, Washington Capitals Centerman, demonstrates proper wear of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) suit during the team’s tour of Joint Base Andrews Dec. 1, 2015. The EOD suit or a blast suit is a heavy suit of body armor designed to withstand the pressure generated by a bomb and any fragments the bomb may produce. The visit included performances by Max Impact and the Air Force Honor Guard, aircraft tours, team-building activities, a demonstration by the Security Forces military working dogs, and lunch at the Joint Base Andrews Dining Facility.
