AFDW Airmen pack 18th shipment of holiday cheer
Homemade Christmas tree skirts and stockings sit at the top of care packages packed by Air Force District of Washington Airmen during the command’s 18th care package packing event at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Nov. 17, 2014. The Airmen packed 25 care packages with more than 90 items each destine for nine different countries. Home economics students from Theodore G. Davis Middle School in Waldorf, Md...., made the Christmas tree skirts and stockings in the care packages. In addition, students from Theodore G. Davis Middle School and Mattawoman Middle School, also in Waldorf, and Girl Scout Troop 5329 from Marion, Iowa, wrote more than 1,000 cards and letters which were included in the care packages.
