Lisa Groves tears up as she talks about her journey as a veteran advocate during a stop at Joint Base Andrews, Md., May 14, 2014. Groves, a U.S. Army veteran, is on her second nationwide journey promoting awareness of veterans’ struggles which began June 2, 2013. During her travels she makes a point to help homeless veterans and bring attention to their needs.
