Brig. Gen. Peter E. Gersten, Deputy Director for Politico-Military Affairs, Strategic Plans and Policy Directorate, at the Pentagon, pins a Legion of Merit medal onto Air Force District of Washington Vice Commander Col. Michael E. Gantt during his retirement ceremony at Joint Base Andrews, Md., June 6. Gersten provided remarks during Gantt’s retirement ceremony. “He’s one of those guys.
