NDW and D.C. Fire Departments conduct joint training

Naval District of Washington Fire Department and District of Columbia Fire Department firefighters locate a simulated “victim” during a collapse-and-rescue training exercise June 4 on Bolling Air Force Base. As part of training, firefighters must first survey the area to establish what type of collapse they will be dealing with, where the victim is and if the area is safe so they can develop their action plan for rescue.
