NDW and D.C. Fire Departments conduct joint training
Naval District of Washington Fire Department and District of Columbia Fire Department firefighters survey the area during a collapse-and-rescue training exercise June 4 on Bolling Air Force Base. As part of training, firefighters must first survey the area to establish what type of collapse they’re facing, where the victim’s location and if the area is safe. Once secure, a rescue action plan is developed. (U.S. Navy photo by Battalion Chief Michael Tenaglia, NDWFD)
