DIA celebrates Army birthday
The Defense Intelligence Agency celebrated the U.S. Army’s 232nd birthday June 13 with the tradition of the most senior and junior DIA soldier making a toast and cutting the birthday cake with a ceremonial sword. Sgt. Cristin Rathkopf, left, born in 1986, and Col. Alan Witkin, right, born in 1942, did the honors. Gen. George Casey, Army chief of staff, participated in the events and was the guest speaker during DIA’s celebration on Bolling at the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center.
