Staff Sgt. Parker Stade of the 316th Wing Civil Engineering Squadron, observes as Airman 1st Class Eric Reist, 316th CES,
and Staff Sgt. Charlotte Robinson of the 579th Medical Operations Squadron, collect samples of an unknown
liquid from a bottle at a simulated deployment location during the Black Flag training exercise. This is the second year Air Force District of Washington CBRN responders have gone to the Center for National Response in Gallagher, W. Va. to exercise the CBRNE Response Force (CRF) concept. The CRF is
comprised of AFDW Bioenvironmental Engineers, Emergency Management and Fire Emergency Services personnel who exercise and develop cross functional procedures to perform CBRN response missions on AFDW installations.
