100514-N-9565D-025 JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. (May 14, 2010) - U.S. Army Air Corps Lt. Col. Roy Truba (Ret.), a B-17 bombardier for the 751st squadron, 351st bomb group during World War II, shakes hands with Mr. Craig Johnson, pilot of the aircraft "Memphis Belle." Trumba was shot down Apr. 18, 1945, and held six weeks as a POW and had not been inside a B-17 since bailing out over Germany. This is the first Joint Service Open House conducted by Team Andrews members at the newly minted Joint Base Andrews, continuing a rich tradition of parternship and strength rooted in service to the nation.
