Wounded Warriors highlighted in documentary

A critical care patient is moved to the Walter Reed patient transport vehicle by aeromedical staging facility personnel. The Joint Base Andrews, Md. Aeromedical Staging Facility is the busiest ASF in the United States. Each week more than 100 sick or injured patients are brought in from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East to the United States for care. Combat troops typically arrive here within 72 hours of suffering a severe battlefield injury. (U.S. Air Force photo by Melanie Moore)
