U.S. Air Force Ball
Senior Master Sgts. Linda Waring and Matthew Irish perform a World War II jingle used to encourage military personnel to use their ration card properly. Rationing was commonplace in the war theater as well as the home front. Rationing provisions meant hard times for those back home, but insured fighting men and women had the necessary supplies to continue the war effort, which eventually lead to victory with the signing of surrender documents by the Japanese Imperial Army on the deck of the American battleship USS Missouri on Sept. 2, 1945.
