Maj. Gen. Alison Funeral Service
White roses were used to honor retired Maj. Gen. John Alison during his funeral at Arlington National Cemetery, Va., Oct. 3, 2011. Alison served in the Air Force, and its predecessor organizations, from 1935 to 1972.
