National Tree Lighting Ceremony
2nd Lt. Shanti Nolan, U.S. Air Force Band officer in charge of outreach, and the Airmen of Note jazz ensemble wait Dec. 1 for the National Tree Lighting Ceremony, Washington, D.C., to begin. Nolan conducted the Note as they played holiday arrangements for the Commander in Chief, thousands of spirited holiday viewers and distinguished ceremony guests such as Rodney Atkins, Carson Daly, One Republic, Santa Claus and the famed Kermit The Frog.
