Leap Year Baby

Senior Airman Bianca Shaw, 779the Medical Support Squadron pharmacy technician, gave birth at 12:15 a.m. Feb. 29 at Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, Md. The father, Staff Sgt. Michael Shaw, National Security Agency, helped welcome William Grayson Shaw; who weighed in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. and 22 in. long. William was one of the first Leap Year babies born in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
