Commander's Call

Air Force District of Washington Commander Maj. Gen. Darren W. McDew presents the Airman’s Medal to Tech. Sgt. Daniel Kirby, AFDW personnel programs manager March 30 during commander’s call on Joint Base Andrews, Md. Kirby was awarded the medal for selflessly jumping on the tracks at the pyeongtaek train station, Republic of Korea, to save a elderly Korean gentleman that had become disoriented and fell on the track.
