Former AFDW Commander

Brig. Gen. Duane A. Jones served as the first Air Force District of Washington commander after it’s reactivation in 2005. At the time he also served as 11th Wing Commander and the Air Force Component Commander to Joint Force Headquarters. Jones retired as a major general in April 2012.
