Maj. Gen. Frank Gorenc served as the third Air Force District of Washington commander from June 2007 through August 2008. Today, as a lieutenant general, he serves as the Assistant Vice Chief of Staff and Director, Air Staff, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C.
