Team USA in Colorado Springs, Colo. invited U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. David Perez to represent the United States at the 2012, long-course Duathlon World Championship. The race is set to take place Sept. 2, 2012, in Zofingen, Switzerland. The course is set up as a 10K Run, 150K Bike and a final 30K Run.
