9th Annual Latina Symposium inspires and recognizes excellence

Air Force District of Washington Commander Maj. Gen. Sharon K. G. Dunbar, Ermelinda M. Rodriguez-Heffner, AFDW Manpower, Personnel and Services director and Capt. Erica Fernandez, Headquarters USAF Deputy Chief of Staff Manpower, Personnel and Services Force Development, were recognized for their achievements throughout their careers during the 9th Annual Latina Symposium Distinguished Military Awards Ceremony, Sept. 6, in Arlington, Va. The Latina Symposium was designed to drive women forward in life through mentorship while featuring accomplished female leaders from across the nation.
