Feds Feed Families campaign wraps up

JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. --  To cap off the Feds Feeds Families donation campaign the Air Force District of Washington A-Staff and Special Offices held an AFDW Food For Food Donation Lunch Festival Aug. 28, 2013, at Joint Base Andrews, Md. Each directorate participating in the festival brought in food patrons could donate non-perishable goods for or purchase. Staff members used the monetary donations to purchase additional non-perishable food for the Feds Feeds Family donation drive. The AFDW Information Office collected 1,617 pounds of food for the campaign during the AFDW Food For Food Donation Lunch Festival earning them the Heavy Weight Triple "F" Trophy. The Food For Food Lunch Festival donation drive netted 4,801 pounds of non-perishable food for the campaign.
