The Federal Inter-Agency Committee will hold its 21st Annual Holocaust Remembrance Program, "Eyewitness to Evil," at the Lincoln Theater May 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"The Holocaust survivors, rescuers, liberators, resisters or witnesses or relatives of these individuals remind us of what can happen if prejudice, hate, and intolerance against any individual or group of people are not challenged by each one of us," according to the Federal Inter-Agency Holocaust Remembrance Committee press release.

The free program will provide audience members the Holocaust experience through the voices of eyewitnesses. Speakers will include Irene Fogel Weiss, Czech Jewish Holocaust survivor; Cesare Frustaci, Italian Jewish Holocaust survivor; and Sead Okic, Bosnian Muslim survivor.

Maj. Gen. Sharon K. G. Dunbar, Air Force District of Washington commander, will serve as the keynote speaker. She will be joined by moderator Gordon Peterson, ABC7/WJLA-TV anchor. In addition, The U.S. Army Brass Quintet and soprano Amy Kwon will perform.

The Lincoln Theater is located at 1215 U Street N.W., Washington, D.C. 20009. For more information, visit http://holocaustremembrance.org/.
