What is your military background? Allen enlisted in the Army in 1972, where he served for three years. After a year break in service, Allen decided to join the Maryland Army National Guard. Eventually he transitioned to the Maryland Air National Guard and earned his commission. In 1998 he returned to full-time service. What is your job and how does that impact the AFDW mission? I'm the director of security forces for AFDW. We perform the organize, train, and equip mission for Air Force security forces assigned in the National Capital Region.

What has been your most memorable or rewarding experience with AFDW? Since coming to AFDW, my most memorable moment was deploying to Kabul, Afghanistan, as the deputy provost marshal for U.S. Forces Afghanistan.

Is there anything else you would like to add? It's been fun. I love the Air Force.
