11th Wing supports National Memorial Day Parade
Maj. Kat Strus, from the Air Force District of Washington A1 office, sings the "Star-Spangled Banner" at the National Memorial Day Parade Monday. The parade highlighted the Air Force's 60th anniversary as a separate service and featured Airmen from the U.S. Air Force Band and Honor Guard. Maj. Gen. Robert L. Smolen, Air Force District of Washington commander, served as the grand marshall for the parade; Secretary of the Air Force Michael Wynne and Chief Master Sgt of the Air Force Rodney McKinley attended as well.
