AIR FORCE DISTRICT OF WASHINGTON -- Gen. William M. Fraser III, Air Force vice chief of staff, visited Bolling AFB, Washington Dec. 18 for a tour of the base and a brief of the 11th Wing mission. 

The tour and brief were led by Col. Jon A Roop, 11th Wing commander. General Fraser met with several base commanders and chief's and spoke about issues like the upcoming joint basing with the Navy, possible changes to full honors funerals at Arlington National Cemetery and general base issues. 

Colonel Roop then led General Fraser on a tour of the Honor Guard Ceremonial Hall talking with members of the Honor Guard. 

The group took a driving tour of different base facilities and construction projects
Their last stop was a briefing by Lt. Col. Alan C. Sierichas, U.S. Air Force Band deputy commander, at the band hanger.
