AFDW Annual Award winners announced

AIR FORCE DISTRICT OF WASHINGTON --  Winners of the 2008 Air Force District of Washington annual awards were announced during a luncheon Feb. 25 at The Club on Andrews Air Force Base. 

Earning awards for their commitment to excellence throughout the year were: 

- Airman of the Year - Senior Airman Orlando Morales, AFDW/A1, Personnel Readiness specialist 

- NCO of the Year - Tech. Sgt. Amanda Gravely, AFDW/A8, NCOIC of Accounting Operations, Bolling Air Force Base 

- Senior NCO of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. William Ewing, AFDW A4/7, command explosive ordnance disposal 

- Company Grade Officer of the Year - Capt. Meglena Hristov, AFDW/JA, Assistant Staff Judge Advocate 

- Civilian of the Year, (CAT II) - Ms. Arzella Jarmon, AFDW/A8, Accounting technician 

- Civilian of the Year, (CAT III) - Ms. Vera Irvin, AFDW/A4/7, Contracting specialist 

- Military Volunteer of the Year -Tech. Sgt. Amanda Gravely, AFDW/A8, NCOIC of Accounting Operations, Bolling Air Force Base 

- Civilian Volunteer of the Year - Ms. Rondallyn Houston, AFDW/A8, Financial Analyst
