11th LRS brings home 13 AFDW Logistics Annual Awards Published March 26, 2009 By Airman 1st Class Susan Moreno 11th Wing Public Affairs AIR FORCE DISTRICT OF WASHINGTON -- When the winners of the Air Force District of Washington Logistics Annual Awards were announced March 19 at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., the 11th Logistics Readiness Squadron from Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C., claimed 13 awards. The 11th LRS winners were: - Master Sgt. Kevin L. Moneace, Master Sgt. Randy Gillespie Fuels Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year - Staff Sgt. Larry B. Frazier, Fuels NCO of the Year - Senior Master Sgt. Dan F. Dominguez, Chief Master Sg.t Eddie Speight Materiel Management Senior NCO of the Year - Tech. Sgt. Matthew F. Kimbro, Materiel Management NCO of the Year - Tech. Sgt. Fredie L. Scott II, Logistics Plans NCO of the Year - Senior Airman Shuna K. Ross, Materiel Management Airman of the Year - Staff Sgt. Tomika C. Strong, Traffic Management NCO of the Year - Staff Sgt. Jason J. Hurst, Vehicle Operations NCO of the Year Airman 1st Class Kelcey D. Upshaw-Vehicle Operations Ariman of the Year - Mrs. Marcellas G. Ingram, George F. Ruestow Logistics Readiness Senior Civilian Manager of the Year - Ms. Bernice Miller, Materiel Management Civilian Supervisor/Leader of the Year - Mr. Gary J. Mitchell, Materiel Management Civilian Technician of the Year - Mr. Thomas B. Parker, Transportation Civilian Technician of the Year "All nominees are to be commended for their extraordinary performance and outstanding dedication to duty," said AFDW Commander Maj. Gen. Ralph Jodice. "The winners stood out as first-class leaders setting high standards of excellence. Congratulations to all award recipients and best wishes at the Air Force-level competition." The results of the Air Force-level competition are expected to be released in mid-April.
