The 579th Medical Group Allergy and Immunization Clinic at Bolling Air Force Base has updated their patient service hours and vaccination schedule for their patient population.
Overall clinic hours are 7:30 a.m. - noon and 1 - 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; and 8 a.m. - noon and 1 - 4:30 p.m. Thursdays. On the first Wednesday of every month, the clinic does not open until 9:30 a.m. due to mandatory Medical Readiness Training.

Immunotherapy is offered only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Small pox vaccine is offered only 1 - 3 p.m. Wednesdays.

Yellow fever vaccine is offered only 9 - 9:45 a.m. Tuesdays.

The clinic is currently out of chickenpox vaccine.

For safety reasons, no vaccines or immunotherapy will be administered after 4 p.m. and no tuberculosis tests are given on Thursdays or Fridays prior to holiday weekends.
Pediatric patients must have Well-Baby appointment prior to vaccinations being given. Overseas travelers and deployers must visit Public Health prior to receiving vaccinations.
The seasonal influenza is now available to all retirees, dependents, and active duty enrolled at the Bolling Air Force Base clinic. All children ages 6 months to 9 years old who are receiving their first seasonal flu shot will need to return four weeks after the first shot to receive a second booster shot. This only needs to happen the first year children receive the flu shot.

The H1N1 vaccine is expected to be available for distribution in November. Letters will be sent out to high-risk Bolling AFB patients when available.

For more information, call the clinic's information line at (202) 404-6724. The clinic is unable to make appointments and works on a walk-in basis only.
