The 2010 Joint Service Open House kicked off here today, featuring a wide variety of air and ground demonstrations from military, government agencies and civilian performers.

The show, hosted by the 316th Wing, includes a jam-packed weekend, with the highlights being the F-22 Raptor, the Navy's Blue Angels aerial demonstration team, and the Army's Golden Knights parachute team.

JSOH has a rich tradition of partnership and strength rooted in military service to the nation. The theme for this year's event is "United in Strength." This is the 63rd year for JSOH and the 53rd year at Andrews AFB. The Open House began on Bolling AFB, Washington D.C., in 1947.

The three-day air show ends May 16. Admission is free.
