The system repair date is unknown. CDSAR experienced a serious technical malfunction May 13, impacting Air University, Maxwell AFB, Ala., distance learning, related education records, and test control facilities Air Force-wide. "The CDSAR outage has impacted Airmen in the National Capital Region," said Mr. Michael Myers, 316th Wing, Base Training Manager. "The Test Control Facilities are unable to determine student eligibility for tests, volume verification enrollment, or update student course completion." "Enrollees should continue to review materials and be prepared to test when the system becomes operational," he said. The CDSAR system assigns, tracks, controls, evaluates, and administers student's enrollments, and maintains records on students taking Professional Military Education programs and courses by correspondence or in residence. In addition, this system archives educational and training accomplishments. The CDSAR outage affects are enlisted and officer distance learning for professional military and continuing education, specialized courses for career broadening and information, testing and delivery of enlisted career development courses, and various specialty courses.
