Small businesses welcomed to Andrews

JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. --  Air Force District of Washington contracting officials invite small businesses to participate in a special meet and greet event April 17 on Joint Base Andrews, Md.

Businesses will have the opportunity to present their unique capabilities to contracting officers from AFDW's contracting office, as well as the 11th Contracting Squadron. In addition, businesses can get their questions answered concerning procurement methods.

Contracting officials encourage small businesses to utilize this opportunity to make their capabilities known so AFDW and 11th Wing contracting officials can maximize small business contracting opportunities.

Each business will have 15 minutes to present its capabilities and will be strategically aligned with contracting officials who procure certain services and/or commodities.

Register with Cathy Hamilton at cathy.hamilton@afncr.af.mil by March 23, 2012 - no exceptions. Only those firms appearing on the list of registered guests will be allowed onto the base to attend the event.
