779th Medical Group hosts TRICARE briefings Published April 3, 2012 By Melanie Moore 79 MDW PAO Joint Base Andrews, Md. -- The Department of Defense healthcare program, known as TRICARE, provides health care coverage for medical services, medications, and dental care for military families and retirees and their survivors. Health care is an important benefit of military service. In order to assist beneficiaries in understanding and obtaining the many programs that TRICARE offers at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic, the TRICARE officehas joined with Health Net to offer TRICARE briefings at various units on Joint Base Andrews. Any unit may request a visit by contacting Maj. George Onyenyeonwu, TRICARE operations and patient administration flight commander, at 240-857-8172. The briefings are intended to update beneficiaries and patients on any TRICARE new services or changes provided at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic.
