AFDW names 2022 Spark Tank finalist Published Nov. 16, 2021 By 316th Wing Spark X Cell JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- Air Force District Washington has named its 2022 MAJCOM Spark Tank finalist! The AFDW finalists’ idea will be submitted to the Department-wide competition, where they will compete against winners from other major commands. The ideas not selected will move ahead through the challenge as wildcard entries. The Air Force’s annual Spark Tank competition offers an opportunity to empower Airmen to challenge their environments and find innovative solutions to fix a process within their units. Spark Tank encourages a culture of forward-thinking within the innovation realm benefiting the Air Force with streamlining processes to prepare for its future fight. AFDW’s 2022 Spark Tank finalist: Agile Spectrum Assignment System (ASAS) Team members: TSgt Daniel Jones (AFDW 794 CS/SCOX), TSgt Jason Chiles and TSgt Sean Grant (AFSOC 1 SOCS/SCX), and MSgt Dmitrijs Cervjakovs (PACAF 7 AF/A65) Finalists will be announced in January 2022.
